The Kindergarten at SGIS offers a well-rounded early childhood education with a wide range of activities to excite and inspire our youngest scholars. The KG environment nurtures a child’s innate curiosity, allowing him or her to explore education in a unique and personalized way. We maintain small classroom sizes in order for our teachers and teachers’ assistants to provide individual care and attention to each child’s specific needs.

We provide a safe and happy environment where our children explore friendships and develop the fundamental social skills they will need to thrive in their emerging world. Curriculum and Instruction

In accordance with the vision and mission of Sun of Glory International School, our inter-disciplinary curriculum starts with challenging core academics at the appropriate level to build a strong foundation in reading, math and science. The KG curriculum solidifies academic foundations of reading and writing in both English and Arabic. All learning is integrated with the most advanced technology. Assessment

Based on the American Common Core Standards, we have put into place an assessment system to effectively evaluate each and every student’s ability, identify differentiation and target any learning disabilities. This system ensures that every child is properly assessed and receives instruction in proportion to the level of each student’s ability so no child is left behind.
