SGIS is located in Maadi area, an affluent, leafy suburban district south of Cairo, Egypt.

It has been approved and recognized by the Egyptian Ministry of Education and the civil authorities within its jurisdiction under LawNo.306 since2014.

The school was accredited by American International Accreditation Association of schools and colleges in 2014 and the expiration date is June 30, 2021and advancEd in 2019 and the expiration date is June, 30, 2021

The School was first established in 2014 by Mr.Tayseer Matter as owner and Chairman.

SGIS started with a population of 125 students starting pre k to grade 10: one class per grade level.

Since its establishment, there has been a great influx of students due to the strong reputation SGIS has earned. The School population exceeded 500 students: two classes per grade level.All grade levels have been operative since 2016.
